Crime Scene Cleaning Process

Our team is trained to work with law enforcement, emergency services, and families to restore the scene with empathy, discretion, and professionalism. This process involves returning the scene to a safe and habitable state after a crime has occurred. This may include cleaning up blood and body fluids, removing and disposing of hazardous materials, and decontaminating the area to prevent the spread of disease.

Step 1

Assessment

We conduct a site inspection to assess the necessary work and determine the required equipment and supplies.

Step 2

Establish Three Main Zones

A control zone where the incident occurred, a buffer zone to prevent cross-contamination, and a clean zone to stage required tools.

Step 3

Biological Removal

Biological fluids will be removed from the structure located within the control zone and adequately disposed of.

Step 4

Content Storage

Contents will be moved, allowing access to the structure within the control zone.

Step 5

Surface Preparation

All remaining obstructions will be removed from within the control zone in preparation for the 3-Step Biological Wash.

Step 6

Biological Wash, Phase One

The structure within the control zone will be thoroughly washed to prepare for the disinfectant phase.

Step 7

Biological Wash, Phase Two

The structure within the control zone will be fully disinfected, allowing for proper wet/dry times.

Step 8

Biological Wash, Phase Three

The structure within the control zone will be thoroughly washed one final time, removing any residue or chemical odor.

Step 9

Path of Egress (POE)

After the control zone has been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, our team will proceed to disinfect all hard surfaces located within the path of egress (POE).

Step 10

Final Site Inspection & Walk-Through

A final walk-through will be completed with the contract signer, along with a post-scan using “Matterport.”
