Mold Remediation Houston, TX

I've used CWF for water mitigation for three different unfortunate water events (pipes busted, etc.). They are quick to respond in the middle of the night and quick to install mitigation equipment to preserve as much home from damage as possible and to prevent any mold or mildew. I've worked with, at this point, probably 10 different on-site employees and 2-3 others over the phone. Everyone has been EXCELLENT. Trust this company with your mitigation needs!

I specifically want to shout out the following folks:
- Alex & Traevon: both of these guys were so friendly that they made my house getting wrecked by a leak a pleasant experience at times, and that is damn tough to pull off. But both of them were great at keeping it moving & getting work done efficiently, too. Alex was also especially helpful because he would frequently give simple, factual updates about what was going on that helped me as a customer understand what to expect & do.
- Jacob: this was our middle of the night project manager. He had such a calming presence in the midst of a crisis and was very kind and insightful. He really was great at guiding me through what the whole process would look like and I LOVED having him there to help us.
- Desiree: she has been our point of contact dealing with negotiating with insurance and she is fierce and quick to get stuff done. I'm so so glad to have her on our side!
- Alfonso & Eric: I also wanted to say these two were efficient and quiet workers. Courteous & skilled and glad to have them on our team.

I haven't yet worked with the repair side of CWF, because projects are in progress, but mitigation is a FABULOUS team. I will update this review once I've gone through the repair process.

I had an urgent condo high rise kitchen sink pipe slow water leak that was discovered in a Friday night by building maintenance. Sewage and mold behind cabinets and an inch of water slowly building under floor boards no one noticed. This had seemingly been ongoing slowly for months. Maintenance was unable to assist at this point. I needed to evacuate my tenants and get immediate help.

Saturday my plumber recommended calling CWFR who responded immediately upon calling, a project manager named Oscar was assigned and on site within 45 min of my call on a Saturday night. Oscar was very calm walking me thru how it was to be handled starting Monday morning and assuring he would help me every step of the way including working with my insurance. Oscar gave me his email and his cell phone the first time we spoke and anytime I called I got my questions answered immediately.

CWFR sent in their COI at 9am to the condo building office and crew started at noon Monday. CWFR demolition crew had removed lower cabinets, counter top, cut large whole in wall to expose plumbing for my plumber to repair, cleaned mold and sewage then thoroughly cleared debris, vacuumed and sprayed to kill any possible existing mold left. Then big blow dryers and dehumidifiers to dry for 3 days.

By Wednesday the demolition needed was complete and dryers were blowing to thoroughly dry area. I was receiving super helpful calls and emails from Erin and Cheyenne checking on how I was doing and preparing for reconstruction phase. Everything was transparent and helpful which kept me calm and project moving swiftly.

Reconstruction phase with CWFR is next. They can handle this entire project until the apartment is put back together and if needed they have resources for 3rd parties.

CFWR always picked up the phone from day one, John, Yan, Jack and others. Such nice team of people ready and willing to be helpful to get me thru this difficult situation. NO phone prompts at CWFR office number. Live person who was knowledgeable (and again very kind) about my case answered my questions. Crew was always on time when they promised.

Five stars with my experience so far with CWFR.

Eric, Julian, and Christian were amazing. They came quickly and contained the mold growing on my carpet. Eric was patient, answered every question I had and was communicative throughout the entire process.

I can’t say enough great things about Christian and Julian from CWF Mitigation. From the moment they arrived to address the water damage and mold in my home, they were the definition of professional. Not only did they do a top-notch job with the restoration, but they also took a personal approach that truly set them apart.

Had a couple of house repair issues that caused water damage so CWF was recommended to handle remediation / mold prevention. From Chris the Proj Mgr who evaluated our situation and Alexander & Nathaniel who did the treatment & set up the fans, all were very professional, quick to respond, friendly and communication was well done. Recommend!!

DANIEL AND ODESSA were professional, thorough and neat, and went about their work right away. They explained everything to me as I am not experienced in mold remediation. They explained what would happen next and set up an appointment to come and pick up the equipment. I know who to call if I have any questions or concerns. Very nice handling. Thank you!

We came home from a trip to find a puddle of water in our bedroom. After moving furniture, we discovered black mold. We immediately called CWF RESTORATION. They came right away, and JACOB began cutting out walls and carpet. He and his partner searched for a source, going in our attic to check the air conditioner and water heater. No luck in finding it, but they had to get blowers, heater, and dehumidifiers in all of the areas to begin getting everything dried out. Then every 2-3 days they have come to see the progress.
We called the plumber back be cause things got Dryer, we could tell there was still a slow leak. This house was built many years ago. The tub in the back doesn’t even have a way to turn off the water to it. Realized that the cracked tiles in that bathroom were in a perfect line with the faucet. He managed to get it apart and discovered that the ring was broken. It was so old. He wasn’t even sure that he could find a replacement. Magically he did. As soon as it was replaced, the leak stopped. The blower in the air conditioning duct started drying out the wall And no more water came in there.
JACOB and his partner JONATHAN came today, and my first thought was that all the noise was leaving! Then they carefully explain the restoration process. Not any of the wood would be replaced, so it had to be thoroughly dried, and the big beams were not. Then furniture would have to be removed and the rebuilding would have to start. I didn’t care so much about the last part, it’s just these things are really noisy, but they do their job. What I can say is CWF restoration is an excellent company. They are available 24 hours a day seven days a week. We have had several different people who have come in although Jacob has always been one of them. They are good honest people and explain things carefully. I would recommend them to anyone. I have no doubt that it will look better than when we bought this house several years ago. Thank you!

CWF was contacted, when an A/C serviceman accidentally stepped on a pipe to the water heater located in the attic. Water poured everywhere of course, upstairs and downstairs. CWF came out, assessed the situation and people came out right away and installed equipment to dry everything out on both floors. Even though we had to endure the roar of the drying units for several days, it was worth it to avoid mold forming. At the end of that period, Yovani and Tavo, came to do a scan for moisture and remove the equipment. The scan still showed moisture downstairs, they explained to me why they needed to leave the units downstairs and would be back in two days. They came back as promised and all was good. They were friendly and professional, as were the guys that came to install the equipment. All in all, it wasn’t as stressful as it could have been or was when water was pouring out. LOL

I needed an expection after I had a plumbing issue, wanted to make sure no mold, they came out within 1 day , Eric was very pleasant and informative and professional , would recommend this company for sure

I am very pleased with the experience I had with CWF Restoration. They came out on a weekend to assess the damage and provided a quote the next morning. (It was early evening when they came to assess). The water mitigation project manager Gabriel M. was professional and knowledgeable in explaining what needed to be done to stop further mold damage. I will say he went above and beyond given the situation to ensure I had everything done properly and at a reasonable price, compared to other competitors. They also have a guarantee on no mold growth or they will return to service free of charge.
